Document Processing

SAP Research Agent can read uploaded attachments and optionally index them for future reference during your research session.

Supported File Types​

  • PDF documents
  • Word documents (.docx)
  • Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx)
  • Text files (.txt)
  • Images (coming soon)

How It Works​

  1. Upload a document to your research session
  2. The agent extracts and processes the content
  3. Document contents become available as context for your questions
  4. Ask the agent to index the document if you want it available for reference throughout the session
note

Embedded images within documents are not processed at the moment. Image processing is coming soon.
